Emergency Colic Surgery Expense

Emergency Colic Surgery Expense coverage pays for the cost of emergency colic surgery and up to 50% of that cost for non-surgical post-operative veterinary fees and care necessitated by the surgical treatment for up to 15 days from the occurrence of the insured emergency colic surgery. A limit of up to $3,000 per animal per year applies, not to exceed 50% of the insured mortality limit of the horse. There is no deductible for this coverage. Emergency Colic Surgical Expense coverage is available for non-race use horses between six months and fourteen years of age.
