Coverage Summary
Full Mortality covers death as a result of injury,
illness, humane destruction, and transportation
accidents anywhere in the continental USA or Canada
and includes loss or death as a result of theft
as well. Premium is a percentage of the
animal's value, and is based on use, breed and
age. The Full Mortality policy includes
up to $3,000 of emergency
colic surgery coverage at no additional
charge.
In the event you do have a mortality
claim, it will be settled on a fair market value
basis, which means that you will be paid what the
horse is worth at the time of the accident, illness,
injury or disease causing its death, up to the limit
stated in the policy.
